As part of our mission to set the benchmark for resourcing and recruitment best practice, we’re committed to ongoing learning and accreditation.
Speller International are members of the following bodies:
We are also members of the SAP Australian User Group { https://www.saug.com.au/Home}, the largest community of SAP users in Australia providing a forum for individuals and companies within the SAP community to share knowledge, network with their peers, influence the direction of SAP solutions and provide ongoing education for all members.
As members of the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association Australia & New Zealand {https://www.rcsa.com.au/} (RCSA) and the Association of Professional Staffing Companies Australia {https://www.apscoau.org/} (APSCo), we’re bound by a Code of Professional Conduct that was authorised by the ACCC in 2019.
Under the Code we adopt values of personal professionalism and operational integrity which include:
protecting work seekers from exploitation (including forms of modern slavery);
conducting business in a way that avoids causing or contributing to exploitation through their activities; and
seeking to prevent or mitigate risks of exploitation that are linked to their operations or services by their business relationships, even if they have not contributed to those risks.
Speller International holds Labour Hire Licenses for all relevant states (Victoria).
The Australian Labour Hire Licensing Schemes exist to protect workers from exploitation by labour hire providers and their clients, to improve the transparency and integrity of the labour hire industry, and to promote responsible practices in the industry.
Our license requires us to meet strict compliance tests and regular reporting requirements.
We also request copies of the Labour Hire Licenses of our sub-contractors, or a signed declaration that a Labour Hire License is not required.
As holders of a pre-assessment certificate for the Victorian Fair Jobs Code, Speller International is able to:
tendering for procurements (including goods, services or works, including construction works and services) where the contract value is $3 million or more (exclusive of GST)
applying for significant business expansion grants with a value of $500,000 or more (exclusive of GST), where the key milestones under the grant agreement specify that the business will deliver new jobs
ISO27001 Accreditation
We are currently in the process of obtaining our ISO27001 certificate.
This internationally recognised Information Security Management certification will help us to continually monitor and manage quality across all our operations, so we can consistently meet your needs and expectations.
