6–12 Month Contract |
- Large-Scale Program
- Hybrid Work Model
We’re on the hunt for a hands-on Technical Lead with deep expertise in Data Warehousing, SAP integration, and system transformation to join a significant Demand & Supply Planning transformation program for one of Australia’s leading FMCG organisations.
About the Role:
This is a true Technical Lead role, where you will be overseeing activities and outcomes, managing the vendor and guiding and governing technical delivery. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the project – from code reviews and integrations to architecture decisions and vendor deliverables.
Your core focus will be to ensure the quality and integrity of all technical outputs, particularly around data warehousing, integrations, and SAP ABAP code, as you transition from legacy planning systems to a consolidated solution.
Responsibilities:
- Proven experience in a Technical Lead role, ideally within large-scale transformation programs
- Strong data background with in-depth knowledge of Data Warehousing and Virtual Data Warehousing environments
- Hands-on experience with SAP – particularly ABAP development and SAP integration technologies (PI/PO) – able to interpret, review, and assess existing AS-IS systems and code
- Experience with middleware/integration platforms, such as SAP PI/PO and/or MuleSoft, and a strong understanding of integration best practices
- Demonstrated experience working on Demand and Supply Planning projects – you understand the domain and how data flows through supply chain systems
- Experience in vendor management, including reviewing and signing off on technical documentation, code, and solution designs
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills – able to translate technical detail for non-technical audiences.
- FMCG industry experience is highly regarded – understanding the pace, complexity, and business drivers is a strong advantage
Why Apply?
- Be part of a major enterprise transformation that will significantly improve planning capability across the business.
- Work with a high-performing team and a committed vendor partner on a complex and rewarding project.
- Influence technical decision-making and ensure best-practice approaches are applied across the program.
