About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Enterprise Threat Detection Consultant to join a high-profile SAP project based in Canberra. The project is well underway and approaching go-live, so this role is critical in ensuring the system is secure, resilient, and ready to face current and emerging cyber threats.

This is a key short-term engagement with the strong potential for an extension as the organisation moves into steady-state operations and continuous improvement.

Your Mission:

As the Enterprise Threat Detection Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting a thorough review of the existing SAP landscape’s security posture. You will assess both current and potential threats, ensuring proactive detection and mitigation strategies are in place prior to go-live.

Skills:

✅ Must Have:

• NV1 Clearance – you must already hold an active NV1 security clearance.
• Strong background in SAP Security, with hands-on experience across roles, authorisations, and system hardening.
• Practical knowledge of SAP Enterprise Threat Detection tools and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of SAP GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance), especially in access control, risk analysis, and continuous monitoring.
• Experience conducting security reviews and assessments in complex project environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills – you’ll be working with both technical teams and business leaders.

🛠️ Nice to Have:

• Exposure to cloud-hosted SAP environments (e.g., RISE with SAP or SAP on hyperscalers).
• Familiarity with Australian Government security standards and frameworks.
