​As you may already know by now, Speller has a “sister” company, CloudApps Consulting - www.cloudappsconsulting.com.au which specialises in resourcing and recruitment for other non-SAP Cloud-based ERP’s such as Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, MS Dynamics etc.)

We originally set up this business when we saw a gap in the market; many of our Speller ‘SAP’ customers were reaching out and asking us to assist with some of these products – they were struggling with candidate not showing up to interview, not receiving candidates with the correct skillsets and were at a loss as to who to go to with their resourcing needs.

Creating Opportunities

Internally it made sense, there was an opportunity in the market but just as importantly I was looking for a way to offer our internal team some diverse career growth and opportunity - Speller had been a reasonably flat structure with an incredible staff retention – 40% of our team have now been at Speller for more than 10 years.

CloudApps offered an opportunity for people to “spread their wings” and try something new, if they desired - whilst still working alongside the team they know and love and still utilitising some of their networks from SAP.

So it is incredibly exciting to see one of our long term Spellerites Chris Oughton, step outside of his comfort zone and choose to join CloudApps Consulting.

Chris specialised in SAP Change and Training for over 9 years at Speller and built up some loyal networks. Chris stepped in to CloudApps from May but has still been handing over some of his Speller customers to the rest of the team.

We are excited to see Chris grow and challenge himself in his new role and know that he will be incredibly successful.
