On a Thursday evening, on the Eighth of December

The SAP folk gather, to drink and let inhibitions surrender.

For years overdue, was this Xmas party……

For it had to be BIG, LOUD, FESTIVE and hearty!

For over 3 years, did the party lay still

But now we are OPEN and took back our free will.

As we all raised our glasses, felt great to be back once more,

And as the sun sets over Melbourne, awaken did the dance floor

For shapes they were being thrown, and limbs thrown side to side

As the Christmas cheer engulfed us all, with nowhere left to hide

And it’s the reason, we love this night, to give back to all of you

To see those smiling faces, to thank you for all you do

For Christmas is about giving, and spending time with friends

And to show our gratitude, in which shows no dividends

At Speller we cannot wait, to see you all next year

We hope you have a well-earned break and bring in Christmas cheer

So, thanks again, our Speller Family, thanks for being you
