SAP Solution Designer (S/4 HANA)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Designer for a long-term contract opportunity based in Brisbane. This role is critical to the success of a large-scale S/4 HANA implementation project, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to design and implement cutting-edge solutions that integrate SAP systems. You will be working in a dynamic environment and contributing to the migration and transformation of core business processes using SAP S/4 HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and define technical solutions that leverage the core functionality of SAP S/4 HANA, ensuring that the solution aligns with best practices and meets business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design integration solutions between SAP CRM, PSCD, and S/4 HANA, ensuring smooth data exchange and system compatibility.
• Assess migration and implementation options for both brownfield and greenfield approaches, providing analysis and recommendations on the most effective strategy for S/4 HANA adoption.
• Develop and document solution designs that detail the architecture, data flow, and integration points, ensuring clarity and ease of implementation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, supporting both functional teams and developers in achieving project goals.
• Work with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements, ensuring that the technical solutions align with the needs of the business.
• Ensure that all design solutions adhere to SAP S/4 HANA architecture and best practices, while addressing scalability, performance, and security requirements.
• Support the project team in testing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues during the implementation and migration phases.
• Contribute to the development of training materials and support knowledge transfer to other team members as required.

Primary Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

• Strong understanding of SAP S/4 HANA architecture, design, and best practices – ideally with experience leading or contributing to large S/4 HANA implementations.
• Proven experience in defining technical solutions that leverage S/4 HANA's core functionality, with a deep understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
• Ability to design integration solutions between SAP CRM, PSCD, and S/4 HANA, ensuring seamless data flow and process integration.
• Experience with brownfield and greenfield S/4 HANA approaches, understanding the differences and challenges of both strategies.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate and assess migration and implementation options, considering business and technical requirements.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA transformation tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in designing and implementing complex solutions in an S/4 HANA landscape, with a track record of successful project delivery.
