SAP Master Data Analyst

Our client is seeking a skilled SAP Data Analyst to join the team, this is an asap start, for a 3 month contract, based in Melbourne. You will support the Data Lead in day-to-day activities and tasks, including the data preparation, reconciliation as well as engagement with other streams to troubleshoot and resolve data related queries.

Responsibilities:

• Support data lead in data activities including preparation, review of data loads and data reconciliation
• Analyse large datasets for completeness and accuracy
• Work with the business on various cleansing activities & highlight any potential issues/considerations
• Collaborate with other project teams to understand data requirements and provide required support
• Communicate complex data concepts in clear and understandable manner to non technical stakeholders
• Perform Data quality checks and ensure quality assurance
• Provide input into reporting on the status and progress of all testing activities, including monitoring defect levels and status

Skills:

• Proven experience as SAP Data analyst
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to drive and achieve outcomes
• Excellent Excel knowledge
• Strong SAP data background and knowledge of data objects
• Ability to implement data validation processes to ensure data accuracy
• Strong stakeholder and communication skills supported by experience with data governance, project and business teams
• Highly motivated and flexible self-starter who is well organised and able to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines
• Personality with attention to detail across the data space to support data cleansing & migration activities
• Strong sense of ownership and drive to achieve quality outcomes
• Familiarity with BODS is a plus but not essential
