SAP HANA Modeler

About the Role

This is an opportunity to join our clients; high performing team as an SAP HANA Data Modeler, where you'll play a leadership role in designing and developing complex data models. This role combines technical leadership with a strong focus on strategic solutions and client-centric collaboration.

Duties

• Lead and participate in business/systems workshops to gather and review business scenarios for data solutions
• Design and develop integrated enterprise data models, focusing on complex modeling techniques (dimensional, 3NF/Data Vault)
• Analyse data model and ELT requirements.
• Support and develop data matching algorithms and data quality solutions
• Develop core data services for the data consumption layer, including metadata management and UI requirements
• Test, deploy, and maintain developed solutions, ensuring data integrity and performance
• Provide high-level reports, submissions, and advice to senior officers on complex issues
• Monitor critical application functions and resolve incidents or problems as they arise

Skills & Experience

• Expertise in SAP HANA 2.0 (calculation views, table functions, procedures, etc.)
• Proven experience in data modeling (relational databases, dimensional models) and SQL queries
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Smart Data Integrator (SDI) and Smart Data Quality (SDQ)
• Proficiency with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Microsoft Power BI for data modeling and visualisation
• Knowledge of security in SAP HANA modeling (roles, privileges, data masking, etc.)
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, Microsoft Synapse Analytics, and Data Lakehouse Architecture would be highly regarded, however not essential
