SAP Data Lead (Data Services/ Migration/ Extraction/ Loading)

Role

The Data Lead is responsible for orchestrating and managing the data migration and integration processes within a major transformation project. This role ensures that data is accurately and efficiently transitioned from legacy systems to new platforms, maintaining data integrity, quality, and security throughout the process. The Data Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives, oversees data governance, and implements best practices for data management. By providing leadership and expertise in data migration and integration, the Data Lead plays a critical role in enabling the successful execution of the transformation project, ensuring that the organization can leverage its data assets to drive informed decision-making and achieve strategic goals

Demonstrate skills & experience in the following:

• 10+ years proven experience as a Data Lead or in a similar leadership role
• 5+ years’ experience in managing and leading a data team.
• Preferably experience in Data Management within SAP landscape
• Strong experience in data governance, data architecture and data quality management
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to write clear and concise instructional aids.
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving
• Strong understanding of software development cycles
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, both within Group Digital and across the business
• Strong understanding of data migration and management testing methodologies and best practices.
• FMCG epxerience is preferably
