Mary initially joined Speller as the Office Manager in 2005. A few years in she took the leap into a recruitment role. With a steep learning curve, both with SAP and recruitment, Mary excelled in her role as Recruitment Consultant. Following a TV quiz show win, Mary took some time off and eventually joined another SAP recruitment agency where she learned the Business Development/Client side of recruitment.

Since returning to Speller in 2015 Mary has achieved a tremendous amount; highlights include placing a whole SAP team in Brisbane across FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM and key resource in the Analytics team, placing 35 + contractors at a single client over 12-month period and placing a team post go-live to successfully fix some system solution problems.  

Mary believes Speller’s success is due to the fact we solely work in SAP. We have spent over 20 years searching and talking to candidates and clients purely in the SAP space, giving us a bird's eye view of the whole SAP market. Because of this overarching view of the market, clients and candidates come to us as their trusted advisors.

Mary’s holistic approach to recruitment ensures clients can rely on her to understand not just the right skillsets to look for, but the right personality that will fit into the culture. She believes that the right team can change the whole culture of a company and improve not only the work environment, but the productivity of the team and that “the right project team can make or break the success of a large SAP Transformation.
