Maria fell into recruitment early in her university days. After a recruiter placed her in a project management work experience role for her diploma, she decided she preferred working for the recruiter and they offered her a role immediately, and she hasn’t looked back.
After being headhunted by a rec2rec team Maria immigrated to Australia in 2011, settling in Melbourne and specialising in Software Development recruitment.
Joining Speller in 2013, Maria’s work ethic and SAP knowledge has cemented her as a true SAP specialist recruiter. She believes the non-transactional nature of Speller’s recruitment methodology guarantees strong, lasting relationships with her consultants. It’s not just about putting an “ad” up and waiting, it’s about head hunting, selling the role to passive candidates and truly matching job requirements with candidate’s skillsets, motivations and business skills.
