​Earlier this month Speller hosted its first Enterprise Apps industry leaders Round Table event.

Held in the Melbourne CBD, over breakfast, the event was a chance for senior managers to network, discuss latest trends and issues they are facing when managing and implementing large SAP and other enterprise application environments. 

We hosted leaders from Mondelez, Jemena, Seek, Asahi and IBM, with the agenda being formed by each of the attendees. Prior to the event each attendee submitted topics they wanted to address, and this formed our agenda for the meeting. In an open forum members were able to share their experience and knowledge freely.

The main points that were discussed were about preparing for a successful S4transformation;how to best combat talent shortages and feed the talent pipeline via graduate programs, how to get the buy in from the business in your IT projects, how best to select and engage with SI’s (System Integrators) to complement your inhouse capability.

Speller plan to host these types of events once a quarter in various locations, with the next one being in February.
